Founded in 2018, Iron City Strings is the new exciting string quartet in Birmingham, AL. Comprised of members of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and highly sought-after professional musicians, Iron City Strings has a combined experience of 50 years in providing music for weddings and events.

Member of the Iron City Strings are Pei-Ju Wu (violin), Troy Bast (violin), Zakaria Enikeev (viola), and Lauren Peacock (cello). This string quartet aims to bring Birmingham a kind of personalized music service not easily found elsewhere. Iron City Strings are not only well versed in the styles of traditional classical music, but also with jazz, rock, klezmer and other genres.
